Venue

FSE 2018 will be held in Oud Sint-Jan (Old St. John) Site (address: Zonnekemeers, 8000 Bruges). You can find a route description here.

The unique 19th-century hospital is now used as a modern conference centre in the historic hearth of the city. The dream location for conferences, product presentations, workshops, conventions, exhibitions and all other events.

City of Bruges

Outstanding hotels, renowned museums, an amazing array of cultural events, innovative companies, Zeebrugge world port, a wide sandy beach and plenty of nature on the city's fringe. But Bruges also has plenty to offer on the culinary level, with several excellent restaurants.

After a busy day, you can take a stroll along the green city walls or through the city's many parks for a breath of fresh air. Bruges is the perfect place to unwind and quiet your mind.

As a result, an event in Bruges is always a special experience, both during and after a convention. What's more, all the meeting infrastructure, historic buildings and convention venues are all within walking distance of the city's many of hotels and convention venues.

Rozenhoedkaai


Summer or winter, morning or evening, sun or rain…Rozenhoedkaai has the enthralling ability to always make a stunning impression. It should come as no surprise that this continuous to be one the most photographed spots in Bruges.

Begijnhof (Beguinage)


The ‘Princely Beguinage Ten Wijngaarde’ with its white-coloured house fronts, tranquil convent garden and beguinage museum was founded in 1245.

Burg


This place was already inhabited in the 2nd century AD, and in the 9th century it became the base of operations of the Count of Flanders.

The Flemish primitives


During Bruges’ Golden Age, the 15th century, the fine arts prevailed.

These charitable dwellings were built from the 14th century onwards.

Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk (Museum of the Church of Our Lady)
