Getting There
The international Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci) Airport is one of the two main airports in Italy, and it is served by all the principal companies.
From the airport, there are multiple transportation options, including taxi service, buses and trains. A taxi ride takes approximately 25 minutes and costs around €40. Alternatively, you can take the FM1 train, which runs every 15 to 30 minutes, to Roma Trastevere Station (€8); the journey takes about 30 minutes.
Taxi is much more expensive than public transport, and is only a little faster. Using taxis is reasonable only for night arrivals/departures.
